Eliminemos el nombre Serrano Suñer de un colegio

Pues sí amigos. A día de hoy, 6 de Mayo de 2005, casi 60 años después de la caída del Tercer Reich y a casi 30 de la muerte del dictador fascista Francisco Franco sigue habiendo un municipio del Estado español que tiene el dudoso gusto de lucir en un colegio el nombre de un ministro fascista del Régimen de Franco, amigo de los nacionalsocialistas alemanes de Adolf Hitler y del también fascista Benito Mussolini. Gente, cómo bien saben, demócratas donde los haya.
España, siempre a la avanzada de la defensa de las libertades democráticas y haciendo gala de su odio contumaz contra todas las expresiones de fascismo autoritario que han caracterizado su devenir histórico en los últimos 70 años tiene a bien dedicar una escuela al falangista que fuera ministro de Franco y organizador de la División Azul Ramón Serrano Suñer, furibundo anticatalán que renegaba de la propia rama materna de su família por ser de origen tarraconense y que llegó a cambiarse el apellido catalán "Sunyer" por el españolizado "Suñer" en una muestra execrable de autoodio. Este sujeto - por llamarle algo - da nombre a un colegio de la localidad valenciana de Castelló de la Plana, y su Ayuntamiento se ha negado en reiteradas ocasiones a cambiar dicho nombre. Cabe señalar que el ayuntamiento castellonense (PP) es uno de los más ultras de toda la costa mediterránea y que no ha mucho su alcalde prologó un libro dedicado a la memoria, "vida" y "obras" del tal Serrano Suñer.
Pues bien amigos, el frotar se va a acabar. Evidentemente los antifascistas no vamos a conseguir nada implorando a ese Ayuntamiento fascista ni pidiendo peras al olmo a las instancias españolas, que no están por la labor. Pero los enemigos de la Libertad van a tener que enfrentarse muy pronto a sus peores enemigos: el pueblo de Israel.
Les propongo que mandemos el siguiente modelo de carta, en inglés, a las principales sedes mundiales del Simon Wiesenthal Center, entidad hebrea dedicada a combatir el nacionalsocialismo en todo el mundo y que tiene en su haber la captura del jefe nacionalsocialista Eichmann en Argentina.

La terrible influencia y el poder férreo que los "lobbys" judíos mundiales ejercen por doquier contra los nostálgicos del nacionalsocialismo como es el caso de nuestros "amigos" castellonenses torcerán la voluntad fascista de estos presuntos demócratas que llevan aún en su alma la camisa azul que vistiera Serrano Suñer.

Serrano Suñer was the person who built the so-called "División Azul" (Blue Division), a Spanish military unit created to fight in Russia side by side with the Nacionalsocialists during the WWII.
I think that now, in 2005, it's a truly shame to all the civilized people the mere existance of this school named after the memory of that person.
The UN and the European Union is based on Freedom, Democracy and Justice. The nacionalsocialist and xenophobic feelings must not have any place inside it.
I ask you to inform about this infamous fact in order to pressure the Valencian and the Spaniard authorities to rename that school.

Serrano Suñer fue la persona que creó la autodenominada División Azul, unidad militar española que luchó en Rusia codo a codo con los nacionalsocialistas durante la Segunda Guerra Mundial.
Pienso que hoy, en 2005, es una verdadera vergüenza para toda la gente civilizada la mera existencia de ese nombre honrando la memoria de esa persona en un colegio.
Las Naciones Unidas y la Unión Europea están basadas en la Libertad, la Democracia y la Justícia. Los sentimientos nacionalsocialistas y xenófobos no han de tener ningún lugar en ellas.
Me dirijo a usted para informarle de dicho infame hecho con el objetivo que se presione a las autoridades valencianas y españolas para renombrar dicha escuela.

Serrano Suñer ( aka Serrano Sunyer ) doesn´t qualify.
As we read in the avalaible biographies, he was reared in a well-to-do family, trained as a lawyer and top civil servant ( number 1 as " abogado del Estado " ) and his background was in far-right parties in Zaragoza and only after the assasination of two of his brothers he joined the so-called Movimiento Nacional, the nationalist faction of the Army that ignited the Spanish Civil War.
After the war, under the relevant circomstance that he was a brother in law of the Generalissimo Franco, he served during three years as Foreign Affairs Minister and ( nominal ) Chief of the Falange. During these years he was the most prominent germanophile in the cabinet, only to deceive the germans doing his utmost to prevent the belligerance of Spain in the Axe Pact.
In his Memories he revealed the existance of a secret clause in the Hendaye Pact upon which Spain would have entered a military alliance with Germany has his conditions ( territorial conditions on France and Morocco )been met.
He was the father of some ilegitimate children, namely the daughter of the Marquise of... He always refused to recognize her, even when she was dying.
So, no a nazi although undoubtedly a hideputa.
